Casey's Freedom May Be The Worst Punishment

I, along with the rest of the world, am livid that Casey was found not guilty and will be released into the free world. After hearing that juror number three stated that the jurors were sick to their stomach and cried, I felt sick to my stomach hearing what she said. When she said that not guilty does not mean innocent, I realized that the wrong jury was chosen for justice to be served. Not guilty should mean innocent, and if she and the rest of the jury believed Casey was not innocent they needed to come back with a guilty verdict.

Eleven hours is not enough time to weigh all the information in a six-week trial. Juror number three and an alternate said that the Prosecution didn’t prove their case. They did not tell how her toddler Caylee died. I think the juror didn’t look at all the data. I think the prosecution did tell how she died, in my view. If they would have spent more than 11 hours they would have known this.

Based on what the alternate said and now juror number three, they liked defense attorney Jose Baez better. And please stop accusing me of loving Jose Baez and being partial to him. I only report what I see. He has presented himself well since day one, and even prosecutor Jeff Ashton said that on his media tour. Whether you like it or not, Baez came across very likable to the jury as opposed to Ashton. The bottom line is they listened to him and what he had to say and they bought it. In fact, the alternate said that the jury didn’t like it when George Anthony argued with Baez.

People do not realize the power of body language and communication. Well, here it is in action. They liked Jose Baez more and that is why they went with what he said. That is why Casey Anthony is going free on Sunday, July 17. Look at Scott Peterson. He was convicted on circumstantial evidence. Why couldn’t this happen to Casey? The reason boils down to body language and communication skills of the attorneys.

I, along with everyone else, am also livid that Casey will become a millionaire after she is released. But even if she sells photos of herself and Caylee, and even if she appears on shows, there are a lot of people who will rebel and boycott. Apparently Paradigm Entertainment in Beverly Hills signed her and had to drop her immediately because of the public complaints.

Sadly, there will be people who will offer her book and movie deals. She may be offered money for interviews through a third party so it looks like they had nothing to do with paying her for the interview. She may even make money selling Caylee dolls for which her lying mother Cindy got the trademark. Foreign entities may pay her handsomely for her interviews and photo shoots. 

Since Casey loves attention, loves to showcase her body and has no sexual inhibitions, she may very well take a porn company up on their offer. This would no doubt be in the millions of dollars. However, Steve Hirsch at Vivid Entertainment felt the pressure of even possible death threats and loss of his fan and customer base after he offered Casey a million dollars for an XXX Rated movie and quickly reneged on it. I am sure that the public’s pressure will continue with anyone who offers her money.

If mainstream TV shows put her on and interview her, the public will transfer their hatred toward Casey onto them.They will boycott any program or station that has her on television. Even if film projects arise people will boycott them. The public will not stand for her capital gain. There will be protests and threats and they will escalate. Casey will not live in peace for one moment. She may have been better off in prison where there would be more protection for her than there would be on the outside. On death row, there would be even more protection.

Now there are more people to hate her, and anything she does will be met with hatred and protest, and even possible violence. No one will ever hire her. No one will ever buy a book by her because they will boycott a book that is no doubt filled with lies. Even if she goes to the grocery store or shopping for clothes she will be met with protesters and taunts. Anyone with whom she associates or whom she dates will be taunted and regarded as a villain. If her parents are now receiving death threats for their lies and possible perceived involvement, can you imagine what will happen to Casey?

As Baez, Mason and Ms. Simms move on with their own lives and on to other cases, Casey will quickly discover that they are not her friends after all. They will want to distance themselves from her as they too experience harassment.

She can’t travel because she will be followed and harassed. Restaurants will kick her out like they did OJ Simpson. Neighbors will rebel. The clubs she once loved and frequented won’t allow her in them. She will discover that she will be prisoner in her own home. She will never have a moment of peace. People will protest outside her home forever. They may damage her vehicles. No security can stop this. By the time the protesters get through with Casey, she may wish she was sitting in a jail cell.

George and Cindy Anthony’s Body Language Shows They Are In Sync

George and Cindy Anthony have been living a nightmare over the past three years. They have tried to defend their daughter Casey at all costs. The two of them have obstructed justice and made bizarre statements and have done bizarre things that have left people’s mouths agape. Cindy insisted their granddaughter Caylee was still alive, even though Caylee’s bones and remains were found and a memorial service was performed.

Cindy tried to throw everyone possible under the bus, from Casey’s ex-fiance Jesse Grund to Casey’s friend Amy Huizinga. Cindy even gave law enforcement the wrong hairbrush. Instead of Caylee’s brush, Cindy gave them Casey's. Cindy even made a Freudian slip and discussed “the woods" when woods were not even a consideration at the time Caylee went missing.

George insisted that he was loyal to Casey no matter what and got furious and fought with protesters who insinuated Caylee was dead and that Casey killed her. As we saw in an early interview, George was into blaming everyone but the person who needed to be blamed–Casey. George even allegedly had an affair with River Cruz (according to her), and spent time with Cruz instead of searching for Caylee.

George and Cindy were known to have their marital difficulties before Casey left the house with Caylee in tow. Apparently much of their tension was over their financial difficulties with George allegedly having lost a considerable amount of money in an online scam. He had trouble finding adequate work, and Cindy appeared to be the breadwinner. Casey kept running up their credit cards and taking money from them. No doubt, this caused them a great deal of anxiety and tension in their relationship.

The entire ordeal put a great strain on their relationship. In examining screen shots of their body language over the past three years, there have been times where they have turned their backs on one another even, refusing to look at each another. At times, they have been seen acting distant and even hostile toward one another.

But all that has changed. Hearing Jose Baez’s testimony during his opening statement that George sexually molested Casey appears to have brought them closer together.

Perhaps the $2 million payout for the Lifetime movie helped ease the tensions as well. At least now they won’t have financial worries. Their home will no longer be in foreclosure and they can afford to move away to a more luxurious place in a gated community to keep paparazzi at bay. In addition, there will most likely be no Casey to run up any credit card bills since the state will pay for her room, board and clothing as well as her medical bills as she sits in prison for life or sits on death row in Lowell Penitentiary waiting for appeals and for her final day.

No doubt, with a book deal for George and another for Cindy, even more millions of dollars will flow into the Anthony household. They trademarked the name Caylee. In doing that they will make more money suing anyone who tries to use it commercially. They may even come out with their own Caylee products, which would add more millions to their coffers. So their financial tensions will be gone forever. They lost a sweet granddaughter and troubled daughter, but gained millions of dollars.

The two of them have been forced out of denial and into the reality of grieving for Caylee and now grieving for Casey. Their new-found wealth has no doubt helped to cement their bond. Even though George has been perceived as weak and wimpy, he showed strength and fortitude as he had to physically and emotionally bolster up Cindy after she testified and sobbed on the stand. While she has always seemed like George's pillar of strength, the tables have now turned.

The once-screaming and hostile Cindy has been humbled, and George has been there to pick up her emotional pieces. They are now in sync with one another as you can see from the above photo. They now walk hand in hand. Unlike before, they look directly at one another. While they may have lost a daughter and a granddaughter, it appears they have gained a renewed sense of love, respect, and affection toward one another.

Why Did a Top Jury Consultant Quit the Casey Anthony Case at the 11th Hour?

Until jury consultant Richard Gabriel quit as the consultant on the Casey Anthony case a few days before jury selection was to occur, I was concerned. The reason? He is one of the top jury consultants in the country. He has represented some of the most high-profile cases, and he has even written a book on the topic.

So, why would Gabriel bail ship at the last minute? It is a seemingly unprofessional thing for such a seasoned professional to do. Several possible reasons for pulling out are outlined here:

1.  Maybe he already got what he wanted--notoriety and name recognition. He got the best press possible in on the highest-rated "48 Hours" show where he performed a focus group of people who ended up acquitting Casey. Mind you, it was a focus group and not a mock jury trial, which many viewers were led to believe. As a result, his name is now known and maybe that was why he took it on to begin with.

2.  The feedback from this show and his involvement was extremely negative, so maybe he wanted to get out before he actually began work on the trial. Some publicly called him a "manipulator of justice," which may have had an impact.

3.  He may have discovered something about the case as he was doing his work that made him realize Casey was guilty and,  therefore, he may not have wanted to be involved with helping get a guilty person free.

4.  He may have developed a conscience as he worked on the trial and felt he couldn’t live with himself if he helped Casey.

5.  He may have received threats and negative emails and feedback and calls from passionate people who believe Casey is guilty. Defense attorneys Andrea Lyons and Jose Baez have each reported receiving threats and hate-mail for defending Casey. He may have been frightened away for fear that something might happen to him or to his family.

6.  If he did succeed in manipulating the jury pool in  Casey’s favor and Casey was found not guilty, the hateful repercussions toward him might have been enormous.

7.  Perhaps he found out the secret location where the jury would be pooled from and realized it would be a losing battle.

8.  If Casey isn't acquitted, he might not have wanted such a significant loss on his pristine record.

9.  He may have realized that he would never get paid, even if he were promised payment at the end.

10. He may not have had the three months to devote to this trial, working for free, if he received a paying job during those months.

11. Perhaps all the press he received from the "48 Hours" piece increased his business from attorneys to the point that he has become overwhelmed and now needs to focus on his new high-paying clients.

12. Maybe he had arrangment with Jose Baez all along to only conduct a focus group that would show Casey in a positive light for the pre-trial publicity so that both he and Baez could benefit. And maybe he never had any intention of actually engaging in the jury-selection process.

13. Maybe he didn't like working with Baez or attorney Cheney Mason and didn't want to continue working on the case with them.

14. Maybe Casey tried to manipulate him as she has done with every-other man with whom she has come in contact.

15. Perhaps he realized that picking a jury would be a losing task and he might not be successful in picking a jury, especially with the Sunshine Laws in effect in Florida that make it difficult.

16. He may have believed that the media has tainted the jury pool to such an extent that he could not choose a jury for Casey.

17. He may feel that that he has been stifled in how to properly vet potential  jurors who may have a bias, especially after Judge Belvin Perry would not allow Gabriel to use a questionnaire asking jurors how they feel about the case and what they've heard about it, which could take an hour per juror.

Whatever the reason Richard Gabriel is no longer on the team, I must say I am relieved. Initially, I was concerned there would be an unfair playing field with him at the jury-selection helm. Now there is a much better chance that there will be a fair trial.

Charlie Sheen's Body Language Says 'Crazy Like a Fox'

After watching Charlie Sheen on his recent home videos and on CNN with Piers Morgan I am more convinced than ever that he has gotten over on everyone. Yes, there is no doubt that he appears as though he is in some type of manic phase with his constant movement, high level of anger and agitation, and pressured speech rate. But if you listen carefully between the lines, Charlie knows exactly what he is doing. And no doubt Charlie will come out ahead of this as far as making money goes and being even more popular than ever before. Having said that, if he is in his manic phase and if he is drinking and drugging along with it, there is a super high risk he may get even more angry and violent and either do himself in or do physical harm to others.

In my latest book Toxic Men, I write about Sheen being one of the most toxic men based on his alleged history of violence towards women. He was accused of beating a woman up back in the 90′s. He shot Kelly Preston, John Travolta’s wife, in the arm once when they were dating. He threatened and abused ex wife Denise Richards. His Christmas fiasco with holding a knife to Brook Mueller’s throat also shows his extreme violent tendencies .

So, based on this, there is a high probability that Charlie may physically harm or even kill someone out of his uncontrolled anger and rage. Another possibility is that he may accidentally kill himself by ingesting either too much of something or a combination of something. I say accidentally because there is no question that Charlie appears to have narcissistic tendencies. While delusions of grandeur often accompany a manic phase, what is really confusing is that Charlie’s delusions of grandeur are a reality.

He thinks he can get millions of followers to rally behind him, and guess what? He can! He thinks he can make million and millions from representing product, and guess what? He can! He thinks he will be a huge film star. And guess what? He will be! People will flock to see his movie just to see how he turned out. Can he get insured? Absolutely. He is so cleaver that before any physicals or drug tests are done he will make sure he is clean, just like he did when he recently took a test with cameras rolling.

The fact that he is in such great shape at his age, complete with ripped abs, and with all the partying he has done is also impressive to many fans as well as non fans.

Battle Against the CBS Suits

CBS absolutely knew who they hired when they hired Charlie. They knew he could do the role, but what he didn’t know was that he could do it so well and make the show such a hit and a cash cow for them.

That is why they let him get away with so much for so many years, turning a blind eye. They felt that his personal life was his personal life, and as long as he showed up on the set and did what he was supposed to do, it would be no problem. In fact, they were of that mindset when Charlie had his latest binge in New York City hotel and caused a public embarrassment. While most companies would immediately fire an employee after such a fiasco, or after the fiasco in Aspen at Christmas when Charlie put a knife to his wife’s throat and CBS turned a blind eye.

In show business, bad press may be good press. It keeps your name out there. His bad-boy behavior certainly didn’t hurt his image or CBS's ratings. So they kept him on. A long as he made money for them, they did not care what he did in his off-camera life. Charlie knew that, and he knew he was safe with his $2 million income an episode. So he had no worries.

During this last binge, the only reason he was given a break in production was that CBS knew Charlie was their cash cow and wanted him to take care of whatever ailed him. They were willing to wait until he sorted himself out. They were willing to give him 30 days or longer to dry out in a rehab facility and put the show on hiatus until he returned. Charlie was the show, so they were willing to wait for him.

But Charlie didn’t want to wait. He didn’t want to be in rehab. He didn’t think he needed to have anything rehabbed. He loved his life. He loved that he could get away with anything. He loved that he could have any woman or as many women as he wanted. He loved the hookers and prostitutes and having two women at once. He loved the fights and the high drama inside and outside of his life. He loved his his kids. He loved the drugs and drink. He loved getting whatever he wanted at the snap of a finger. And most of all he loved Charlie as we have all seen on his many interviews. The common theme is Charlie loves Charlie and considers himself omnipotent.

CBS knew he was getting out of control and believing his own press as being the greatest and even God-like, as we have all seen in his on-camera musings. When Charlie wanted to get back to work a day or so later instead of taking off the 30 days or whatever it took to get “well,” CBS for the first time in Charlie's life said "No!" They really wanted him to sort himself out and at the same time wanted to show they were the one who were in control and had the power, not Charlie.

So Charlie, like any spoiled child who doesn’t get his way, went on a tirade and threw a tantrum. He took his tantrum to the airwaves to tell everyone how bad and awful the producer Chuck Lorre was to him.

This no doubt freaked out my dear friend, public relations maven Stan Rosenfeld, who, no doubt, said "No way! You can’t do that! This is career suicide to trash your producer in public! I am having nothing to do with this! I am out of here!" This didn’t phase Charlie in the least, as he certainly didn’t need a PR person to get press. Everyone in the media clamored to get some airtime or press time with him. In a few day period he generated major league press all by himself by appearing on every major morning and entertainment show including CNN's Piers Morgan.

While he was an angry mess on every morning show and shocked viewers with his rhetoric and outrageous sayings, the ratings went through the roof. People never saw this Charlie Sheen before. They always saw a clean and funny watered down version of him on Two and a Half Men. Now, they saw him raw and angry. I even commented about him on CBS’s "The Insider" saying how angry and hostile he looked body language wise.

When Charlie arrived at the CNN Studios to do Piers Morgan’s show, there was tension in the air. I was even at the CNN studio shooting the Nancy Grace Show and everything there seemed to be on lock down.

There was a heaviness and nervousness in the air, and people were walking on eggshells. You couldn’t roam around freely as usual and there were only certain rooms you could be in. Security was everywhere and in full force. It was because Charlie was on the loose, and no one knew what would happen. Would he fly off the handle? Would he harm someone? So as a precaution, they wanted to keep everyone away from him and out of his path.

When I walked out of the CNN studio to get into my limo, a throng of paparazzi three-feet deep were waiting outside for Charlie, to take his photo, as soon he emerged from doing Piers Morgan’s show. Because they were so anxious and camera-trigger happy, they immediately began flashing away at me when someone yelled out, "That’s Dr. Glass," Then, the multitude of questions and cameras came at me as I was asked what I thought about Charlie Sheen on CNN as I was getting into my limo. Since I didn't see the show at the time because I was busy filming the Nancy Grace show, I had nothing to say except that I didn’t get to see it.

I did manage to see the show while I was in an airport in Salt Lake City that Sunday. Charlie was not as angry on the show. In fact he was hilarious at times. He was bright and sharp, and clearly knew what he was doing and saying. He did not seem crazy at all. In fact, Peirce also remarked that he didn’t think Charlie was crazy and actually thought Charlie was great and charming.

The Cardinal Sin in Hollywood

But those who did not find Charlie's interview charming was CBS. Charlie committed the Cardinal sin in Hollywood, biting the hand that feeds him. He was discussing money, whether or not he would return, and the negotiation process. This is a huge no-no. That is why there are agents and lawyers. You cannot discuss this on the air. It made CBS look bad as well as all producers.

Because of Charlie's popularity, he used his forum to, in essence, badmouth his employers and put them in a bad light. They could have none of that, and rightfully so. So, they fired him last Monday. They clearly had enough of him making them look like the bad guy when all they did was give him a chance to sort himself out.

Charlie was shocked and no doubt went on a binger as he ranted and raved and looked even more out of control and manic than ever on his homemade reality show. He looked awful as he had no makeup or hairstylist to make him look good. It was just raw Charlie.

When his kids were taken away, it was sad and horrible, but the right thing to do as kids cannot be anywhere near this man now. He seemed to take it in stride, but when the reality sets in that he will not be seeing his kids when he wants to, it will no doubt have a huge emotional impact on him. Maybe that will be the catalyst for him to sort himself out. One thing is for certain: He truly loves those kids, and that was evident on the video.

Charlie will Fight his Firing and Will Probably Win

Charlie's legal battle with CBS is far from over and no doubt a settlement will take place. No one wants a drawn-out trial, which would keep this ugly situation alive. It won't look good for CBS as Charlie's growing popularity would make them look like the big, bad wolf, even though they were not. Marty Singer, a great contracts attorney who also specializes in defamation against celebrities, will make sure Charlie comes out ahead, and he will, from a financial point of view.

I think CBS would rather settle than see the likes of Charlie on the set of Two and a Half Men. I am sure that producers would rather stick hot coals in their eyes than see Charlie show up on the set again. There is talk of replacing him with Rob Lowe, whom I have known for years. That would be a great move, in my view. Besides being funny, Lowe is definitely easy on the eye and would attract a lot of female viewers.

Charlie Capitalizes on his Infamy

On his latest home reality show, he was funny. I even laughed out loud. He gets under the table and takes a swig of something and says he isn’t going to tell us what it is because he hasn’t gotten paid for it. So, now it is all about money as we hear how he is getting this offer and that offer. Charlie will probably make more money than ever and make more of a name and a brand for himself than ever before. He will probably make so much that he may end up producing his own movies and end up one of the biggest moguls and powerhouses in Hollywood. Since he is such a porn-star aficionado, perhaps he may even produce some porn as well.

The money machine has started the sound of ka-ching already. There is a winning T-shirt line and a Tiger’s Blood drink and "I'm on a Drug Called Charlie Sheen" T-shirts. “Pulling a Charlie Sheen” will no doubt become part of our vernacular. I am sure that "troll" T-shirts are on the way. Maybe there will even be a cartoon series and a reality show or even a film called “Charlie's Trolls." The point is that Charlie has reached the tipping point in a good way, and his money-making machine has become viral with his Charlieisms.

With social media and good old marketing, Charlie doesn’t need CBS. If he doesn’t kill himself with drugs or end up in prison for hurting or killing someone, Charlie has a lucrative future ahead of him. Even though CBS gave him the boot, Hollywood being what it is and seeing how much he can make will give him yet another chance. Someone else will offer him a show, either cable, NBC or ABC. No doubt it will be a hit. Film offers will come in, and people will flock to see train wreck, crazy Charlie.

But as I said, Charlie is not crazy. He may be manic and angry and hostile, but Charlie is still  a funny, talented, consummate actor, as we have even seen in his over-the-top ratings on his own reality show. Charlie clearly knows what he is doing. Charlie is bigger than ever and is here to stay, unless he does himself or someone else in.

Will Casey Anthony Commit Suicide As A Final Act of Control If She Gets Death Penalty?

In examining Casey Anthony’s behavior, her body language ,and communication patterns throughout the years, it is my view that there are significant signals of sociopathy or psychopathy. According to the characteristics set forth by Canadian psychologist Robert D. Hare in his Hare Scale of Psychopathy, Casey Anthony appears to fit most of the characteristics seen below:

Factor 1: Aggressive narcissism

1. Glibness/superficial charm
2. Grandiose sense of self-worth
3. Pathological lying
4. Cunning/manipulative
5. Lack of remorse or guilt
6. Emotionally shallow
7. Callous/lack of empathy
8. Failure to accept responsibility for own actions

Factor 2: Socially deviant lifestyle

1. Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
2. Parasitic lifestyle
3. Poor behavioral control
4. Promiscuous sexual behavior
5. Lack of realistic, long-term goals
6. Impulsiveness
7. Irresponsibility
8. Juvenile delinquency
9. Early behavioral problems
10. Revocation of conditional release

Traits not correlated with either factor:

1. Many short-term marital relationships
2. Criminal versatility

When a sociopath or psychopath is cornered and there is no way out for them, they often become severely depressed. Because of that, it is not uncommon for them to commit suicide. That is  what happened with Craigslist Killer, Philip Markoff (right). He knew there was no way out of his predicament. So he found a way to kill himself in his jail cell and as a final act of control, write messages in his own blood on his cell wall. This could possibly happen with Casey Anthony as well.

Sociopaths and psychopaths do not commit suicide for the same reasons non-psychopaths or non-sociopaths would commit suicide. Instead, they commit suicide as a final act of control. So if Casey is found guilty of the crime of murdering her daughter Caylee and is sentenced to death by the State, she may very well attempt suicide and succeed. In doing so, it may serve as her final act of defiance and control. She may commit suicide as an act of controlling her own death on her own terms.

While many may believe that Casey is too narcissistic to kill herself, that may not  at all be the case. If and when she is housed in a prison’s death row, Casey will get a rude awakening.

Right now, she is the center of attention, and she appears to be loving it. She gets to show off her different outfits and hair styles in the courtroom. For Casey, it is important to her that she always look good. That is why you always see her grooming her hair or adjusting her clothing. She also gets the pleasure of seeing her crush and attorney Jose Baez, and whomever else she fancies at the moment. She gets the pleasure of sharing a smile or a laugh with Jose. Most of all , she gets the joy of seeing her parents agonizing over her in the courtroom, while she purposely ignores them. She gets the thrill of knowing that her every move is televised and scrutinized by the press and that she is the subject of websites, news articles and television shows. There is no doubt that she flourishes with all of this attention bestowed upon her.

But if she is found guilty and sentenced to death, all of that external attention will suddenly disappear. Instead, she will experience hours and hours of complete isolation and boredom. There will be a disturbing lack of visual and auditory stimulation on a regular basis.

So stimulus-seeking Casey, who needs all of that attention to survive, may have a terrible time dealing with and tolerating her newly imposed boredom. Because the lack of stimulation may be so intolerable and such torture for her, it would be highly possible for her to attempt to take matters into her own hands and kill herself because she may feel there is no way out.

Even though Casey would no doubt appeal her conviction, the legal process would be agonizingly slow. It could take years. There would not be daily, weekly or even monthly visits from attorneys. Even though she will no doubt continue to receive countless letters from fans who support her innocence, or receive marriage proposals from emotionally disturbed people who are captivated by her beauty, it may not be enough to sustain her.

Body Language Does Not Lie in Casey Anthony Trial

I have repeatedly said that the body does not lie. I have also said that no matter how hard a person tries to conceal their thoughts and feelings, the truth eventually leaks out through one’s body language and facial expressions. It doesn’t matter how hard the person tries to hide it. That was the case with Casey Anthony's last appearance in the courtroom.

While Casey Anthony, charged with murdering her daughter Caylee, may have been coached to sit up straight, or may have been given an image makeover with a unique hairdo, the truth always prevails as far as body language is concerned. The truth is that Casey is still flirting with attorney Jose Baez in the courtroom. It is clearly not endearing, and it is definitely not charming. In fact, it is incongruent with the reason she is in court in the first place.

Anyone accused of murdering a child, especially their own child, has absolutely nothing to smile about whatsoever. The last time we saw Casey beaming with smiles and laughter in the courtroom was when a  law clerk on her legal team was ambushed by Jose Baez and was unexpectedly sworn in as an attorney. But now there is clearly nothing to smile about. Her latest appearance in court dealt with some very serious matters, on which her life hinges. They involve very major issues in her cases, such as what would or would not be admissible.

The second Casey is seen walking into the courtroom there is a smirk on her face. No doubt, after being locked up in her jail cell with little or no human contact all this time, she is thrilled to be out among people. But the fact that she enters the courtroom with a smirk on her face is disconcerting. It does not matter that she has a form fitting blue sweater that showcases her  curvy figure to make her look  sexy and appealing. It does not matter that she has a new hairdo. It does not matter how good she looks if her behavior and actions are inappropriate.

Studies have shown that if a person looks good, then they are perceived more favorably by a jury. However, that theory  is null and void when behavior is inappropriate. Casey Anthony’s recent courtroom behavior is inappropriate, in my view, especially as it pertains to Jose Baez.

While she always seems to have her ritualistic behavior going on where she repeatedly grooms herself, she is doing even  more self grooming than usual. Note the double-handed hair groom. It may have been done  in anticipation of seeing Jose. Now we see her facial expression change as she begins an anticipatory smile.  That means she is getting excited that she will be having  an upcoming interaction with Jose. Like a school girl, she readies and vigorously grooms  herself  so the  man she finds attractive, Jose, will, in turn, find her mutually attractive

Jose sits  down next to her and Casey does an initial eye flash of excited recognition. She then exhibits body language behavior that clearly indicates flirtation and coquettishness. She immediately breaks eye contact and gazes downward, all while trying to suppress a smile. But she cannot do it for long. The truth always leaks out, body language-wise.

She beams a huge toothy smile, as she appears beyond thrilled to see Jose. She immediately notices a change in Jose’s appearance, namely his new hair cut.  She lasers in on his hair change. She obviously likes what she sees, as she can’t stop smiling. We  even hear her saying to Jose that he cut his hair.  No doubt Jose’s new closely cropped 'do makes him look more hip and younger in her eyes, and she lets him know it. Her shoulder is rotated forward, indicting a flirtatious action. She has an open-mouthed, tooth-showing smile, which indicates she can’t hide that she  genuinely likes what she sees.

There is no doubt that Jose is flattered. Both Casey and Jose are now laughing at something they see in the  monitor in front of them. It must really be amusing because Jose’s cheeks are raised and his eyes are crinkling. We have rarely seen Jose with this type of expression. Instead,  we usually see him with a serious facial demeanor.  Casey continues to self groom in subconscious flirtation with Jose.

No matter what they are looking at, it looks bad to others who are watching them.  It would be one thing if Jose was looking at something  in the monitor and it amused him, or if there was something he found funny.  But the fact Casey is joining in and being equally amused is disconcerting. What in the world could be funny two both of them at a time like this? I guess  Casey needs to find joy and laughter where she can because, when she is sentenced to a lethal needle, there will be nothing to laugh about.

And, yes, that is a very real possibility, especially if a jury sees her laughing and smiling and flirting and carrying on like she doesn’t have a care in the world. To a jury, it will be sickening.  That is what happened to Amanda Knox, who  now sits in an Italian jail cell accused  of murdering her roommate. Like Amanda’s jury, who saw her laughing and acting as though she did not have a care in the world, if Casey acts similarly, her actions will anger a jury as well.

It will no longer matter if there is a male juror who finds Casey sexy or attractive, or if a female juror identifies with her or takes pity on her. It will all be negated when she leaks out her true self.  When she shows that she is amused and laughs and flirts, jurors will take that as a signal that she has little or no feeling about what happened to her own daughter Caylee.

Afterword, we see Casey begin to  rigorously groom herself even more. At one point, she even turned away so that we could see the back of her hair, which she creatively coiffed into  an unusual looking do. It looked like a combo of three different styles that she flung to one side and let hang over her shoulder.

The bottom line in all of this is that while Casey’s looks may indeed be a factor  in how she is perceived by a jury, it won’t matter. It's the leaking out of her lustful feelings toward Jose and her uncaring lack of feelings toward her daughter that ultimately will matter to a jury.

Taking Your Car Or Your Intellectual Property - You Still Feel Violated

If someone takes your car and tells everyone they bought it when they actually stole it, you would feel violated and devastated. You would feel that way because someone took something of yours that was not theirs. You would feel upset because you worked so hard to earn the money to buy that car, and now it is gone.

If someone takes the exact words from a book you have written without giving you credit and places your material in a book they wrote, telling everyone that it was their material when they actually took it from you, you would feel violated and devastated as well. You would feel upset because you worked so hard to create that material.

The first example, the theft of a car, is a criminal matter in a court of law. The second example, someone taking what you have written and passing it off as their own, is a civil matter pursued in a court of law.

Whether a criminal or a civil matter, the resulting emotions that arise from both of these actions are identical. When you discover that someone has taken something of yours, especially something for which you have worked so hard to acquire or to create, you are angry, upset and feel violated. It doesn’t matter if it is a material good, like a car, or intellectual property, such as text in a book or lyrics for a song.

Marsha Petrie Sue, Copyright Infringer, Also Accused of Plagiarizing Intellectual Property

When I discovered that Marsha Petrie Sue, a professional speaker from Arizona, took the exact words I wrote in my 1992 book He Says She Says and put them in a book she wrote in 2007 called Toxic People, I was upset. I discovered what she had done because I was doing an Amazon search for one of my books, also titled Toxic People, which I wrote in 1995. When I discovered she used the same name as I had for my earlier book, I purchased her book. I was even more shocked to see my material in her book.

Marsha Petrie Sue also had the audacity to post the material from He Says She Says on her websie without attributing it to me. Instead, she gave permission to others to freely use and freely disseminate my work, but only if they included her website address to help promote her business.

So, I took the matter all the way to a United States Federal Court in Los Angeles where a unanimous jury of eight last month found Petrie Sue liable of copyright infringement. Now she will forever be known as a copyright infringer.

As this case became public--with every television venue picking up the story from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, FOX, to Bloomberg, Businessweek, Yahoo! and Breitbart--I received supportive feedback and comments, and even questions like this one from crime reporter and radio host Levi Page, who asked, "Wonder who else she ripped off?"

Apparently Marsha Petrie Sue may not be a stranger when it comes to copying other people's materials without attribution and claiming them as her own. Stanford University Professor Robert Sutton back in 2008 openly assuced Petrie Sue of plagiarism in a post he wrote on her Amazon blog (which has hence been removed).

He wrote to Petrie Sue that she "took nearly word-for-word from an article." In addition, he wrote, "There are some words ommitted, but there is no attribution to original source and note below how you have pretty much simply removed some of the words from the opening of the original article. Note that I am a professor at Stanford, and directly taking text from a source without providing any attribution fits our definition of plagiarism."

The professor concluded his admonishment of Petrie Sue by writing: "Perhaps Amazon blogs don't need to follow the Stanford honor code, but I would never use so much text from another source without attribution, and I think that nearly all other universities--and authors--would agree that acknowledgment of the source is appropriate."

Fighting The Case For Everyone Who Writes Or Creates

I not only fought this legal battle against Marsha Petrie Sue for my own rights, but for the rights of anyone else who creates--any writer, songwriter, composer, artist, photographer, sculptor, architect, or designer.

No matter if someone takes your car or your intellectual property, know that you have rights through the legal system. No one has any business taking what is rightfully yours, and they must be stopped at all costs.

Did Ronni Chasen's Fiery Temper Anger the Cyclist Who Shot and Killed Her?

The day after Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen was killed, her friends and colleagues sang her praises. They said she was the sweetest woman, who was loved by all. But as we read between the lines, their comments reveal a different story.

Their comments may give us more insight into her personality and perhaps why  Harold Smith, the person of interest, wanted her dead.  Smith ended up  committing suicide after police confronted him. Initially, police said he had  nothing to do with her murder. But now it has been discovered that he was indeed the murderer.

The Beverly Hills Police now say that Harold Smith killed her, while riding his bike, as Ronni was on Sunset Boulevard, turning left onto Whittier Drive. Apparently, Smith bragged to people that he killed Ronni and that is why they sought him out as a person of interest.

While police have said it looked to be a botched robbery, was she actually a victim of road rage? Did she cut cyclist Smith off or honk at him or yell at him? Was he so enraged by this that he pulled a gun and simply shot her?  He didn’t just shoot her once; he shot her five times. This meant he was furious with her and wanted her dead.

Ronni’s brother, Larry Cohen, even thought it was road rage. When he found out this happened, he remarked that his sister had a fiery temper and speculated that she may have angered the wrong person on the road while driving. He would certainly know his sister’s personality best.

Adjectives commonly used to describe Ronni by family and friends and colleagues were:  persistent, doggedly determined, fiercely protective, pushy, and very aggressive.

One colleague remarked that Ronni was known for her "fast-talking, old school, New York aggressiveness on behalf of her clients and was not a person one quickly forgot after meeting.”

Songwriter Diane Warren painted a picture of a publicist who was determined to get whatever she wanted no matter what. She described a situation when Ronni wanted a photo taken of Diane with some other celebrities in the photograph. Diane reported, “(Chasen) goes, ‘I don’t care what I have to do--I’m getting that picture,’ That was Ronni. She had something she wanted to do and she got that picture. She’d tell you what to do, and people listened to her.”

At Ronni’s funeral service, her relentless, turbocharged drive was mentioned by many. Those giving the eulogy each described Chasen’s forceful personality. Ronni’s close friend Vivian Mayer-Siskind’s comment about Ronni spoke volumes about Ronni when she stated, “Ronni came to me last night and was pissed as hell. ‘Now you get me a free Armani suit.’”

Perhaps the most compelling insight into Chasen’s personality came from producer Irwin Winkler of Rocky fame. He told the Los Angeles Times that when his 2004 film De-Lovely was not nominated for a Golden Globe, Chasen “was furious. She screamed and yelled at (members of) the Hollywood Foreign Press,” the group that puts on the annual awards show.

While Ronni may have been nice to her friends, colleagues, studio executives, and A-list celebrity clients who paid her large amounts of money, how did she treat others? When someone yells and screams at others, like producer Irwin Winkler reported Ronni did because her client didn’t get nominated for an award, it makes you wonder.

Did that aggressive, yelling, and relentless behavior transfer over on to the road? Did she scream and yell at the wrong person on the road who ended up shooting her? Obviously, there was someone in the last moments of her life who was angry. Harold Smith was so angry that he shot her five times in the chest.

The Ten Most Toxic Men Behind Bars

1. Joran van der Sloot (Psycho/Sociopath) -- He is suspected of killing teenager Natalie Holloway in Aruba and accused of killing Stefany Flores in Peru, where he sits in prison awaiting a translator and a trial.

2. Bernard Madoff (Seductive Cheating Liar) -- He was convicted of running a Ponzi scheme where he stole millions of dollars and lied to investors.

3. Scott Peterson (Sneaky Silent But Deadly Erupting Volcano) -- This former fertilizer salesman seemed mild mannered and like the idea loving husband, according to his in laws. He is now on San Quentin’s death row for killing his pregnant wife Laci and her unborn son Conner.

4. Joseph Fritzl (Angry Bullying Control Freak) -- This monster abused and imprisoned his own daughter in a basement dungeon for decades as he impregnated her with six children. He now sits in a dungeon of his own- the mental section of a prison in Austria where he will remain for the rest of his life.

5. Phillip Garrido (Angry Bullying Control Freak) -- This is another monster who kidnapped an innocent school girl, Jaycee Dugard, kept her in a prison like area in his back yard for decades, and impregnated her with two children. He awaits trial and will most likely die in prison.

6. Drew Peterson (Emotional Refrigerator and Arrogant Know It All) -- This is a cocky former policeman who is in an Illinois jail awaiting trial for the alleged killing of his third wife Kathleen Savio and missing forth wife Stacy Peterson.

7. OJ Simpson (Me, Myself and I Narcissist) -- A former football great who killed his wife, Nicole, and her friend, Ron Goldman. He literally got away with murder. But 13 years later, he was convicted of armed robbery in an attempt to get his memorabilia back. He will most likely sit in a Nevada prison for the rest of his life.

8. Mario Andrette McNeill (Wishy Washy Spineless Wimp) -- This horrific coward raped and strangled five-year-old Shania Davis. He remains in a North Carolina jail awaiting sentencing.

9. Brian David Mitchell (Arrogant, Self-Righteous Know It All) -- on trial for kidnapping a then-14-year-old Elizabeth Smart, raping and torturing her. He is presently on trial for his heinous crimes.

10. Omar Abdel-Rahman (Instigating Backstabbing Meddler) -- Also known as the "blind sheik," he was the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He traveled freely to the US and preached regularly at mosques in New York City where he incited Muslim extremists to destroy the West.

While these are 10 of the most extreme types of Toxic Men who are, luckily, behind bars, many other types of Toxic Men are less extreme. While they may not be behind bars, they may still be causing severe havoc in your life.
